I just finished a two day drive from northern California to Palm Desert to visit my daughter, Mira and family. She and her husband, my two adorable granddaughters, Audrie & Gracie and my baby grandson, Eddie, have just moved here from Colorado --- hence my travel here in OFF SEASON HEAT. The nights here now are like our hottest days where I live. But visiting my family is definitely worth it!!

I'm having a strange thing coming over me... One of my daughters, Mira, and her husband & two granddaughters, Audrie & Gracie and my one little grandson, Eddie, just moved to Palm Desert. I want to make a trip to see them. I live just north of San Francisco. Flying seems the most practical, but I'd have to take a bus to Oakland or San Francisco airport and then change planes in Los Angeles for Palm Springs.... seems like SO much trouble.
I've been feeling this CALLING, almost to drive down the Coast! It's a beautiful drive but a very very long one. And then there is the VERY VERY long drive back!!! 11-12 hours or so. Shorter if I would take I-5 through the HOT center of the state which is NOT an option.
But the curious... getting stronger... intuitionist, yearnings I guess are going to have to be followed. Hmmmmmm.....
I'm planning on buying a new camera.
It's so lovely to see you here in this wonderful space!
